Canadian Foodgrains Bank Study Tour: May 2012
The Youth Study Tour to Nicaragua is open to any young adult (18-25) who wishes to participate. We particularly encourage young adults connected to our member organizations to apply. While in Nicaragua we will visit some projects and learn about the larger context in which the projects operate; explore various issues dealing with food, farming and agricultural production; experience a homestay (2-3 nights) with a chance to meet with Nicaraguan youth. The hope is that participants will come back inspired to start/continue working for a more just world through Foodgrains Bank and its membership. Cost is $3,000, but possibilities to help lower the cost ia available. All information can be found here. Direct questions to Roberta Gramlish, Youth Engagement Coordinator, 1-800-665-0377, or find her on FB at Roberta Foodgrains Bank.
